About HydraResolve

HydraResolve is a practical problem-solving resource for people working with hydraulic cylinders and sealing systems.

What we are trying to solve

Repair work often begins without a clean OEM part number. A cylinder leaks, drifts, loses force, or arrives with an old seal that needs to be identified. HydraResolve organizes the first steps: describe the symptom, narrow plausible causes, measure and classify the seal, then verify the information needed before repair or sourcing.

What HydraResolve is not

It is not an OEM catalogue, a substitute for a qualified hydraulic technician, or a source of final engineering specifications. Tool results are designed to narrow possibilities and reduce avoidable guesswork.

Editorial standard

Technical pages are written around a repair decision, not around keyword repetition. Where the answer depends on manufacturer-specific limits, the page points the reader back to primary technical data instead of inventing a universal specification. See the methodology for how troubleshooting logic, references and corrections are handled.

Technical review

HydraResolve's technical review is informed by more than a decade of practical work with hydraulic seals and CNC seal fabrication, including measurement, profile identification, common material families such as PU/HPU, NBR, FKM, PTFE and POM, and troubleshooting of repeat seal failures. That practical experience is used to frame checks and decision paths; it is not presented as an engineering license, OEM approval or laboratory certification.

What the site covers

The current focus is hydraulic-cylinder troubleshooting, seal identification and measurement, material screening, installation checks, failure analysis and supplier-ready specification preparation. The tools and guides are designed to work together from the first symptom to the next verification step.
