Future sourcing workflow

Custom hydraulic seals start with better data.

A made-to-size seal request is much easier to quote when the supplier receives the machine dimensions, seal profile and operating conditions—not just a photo of a worn seal. HydraResolve is preparing a sourcing workflow around that information.

Direct ordering is not open yet. This page is a preparation guide. HydraResolve is not currently accepting manufacturing orders, payments or shipping requests.
1

Identify the sealing position

Record whether the part is a rod seal, piston seal, wiper/scraper, static seal or guide element. A similar-looking profile can perform a very different job depending on where it sits.

2

Measure the machine, not only the old seal

Save ID, OD and height from the removed part, but verify rod diameter or cylinder bore plus the actual groove/gland width whenever possible. Used elastomers can distort after service and removal.

3

Capture the operating conditions

Fluid type, pressure, temperature, sliding speed, contamination, motion type and surface condition all influence profile and compound selection.

4

Keep evidence of the original profile

Photograph the cross-section and lip orientation before the part is discarded. Note backup rings, energizers, guide rings and any unusual wear pattern.

Quote-ready checklist

What to save for a future request

DimensionsID, OD, height, rod/bore diameter, groove/gland width and other profile-specific groove dimensions.
ApplicationRod, piston, wiper or static location; single- or double-acting cylinder when relevant.
Material cluesKnown PU/NBR/FKM/PTFE family, color/feel only as a clue, and the actual hydraulic fluid.
Operating limitsWorking pressure, temperature, speed, contamination and any pressure spikes or unusual duty.
Condition evidencePhotos of the old profile, rod/bore damage, extrusion, one-sided wear or contamination.
Quantity & timingHow many pieces are needed and whether the job is an emergency repair or planned stock.

Prepare the data now

Use the identifier to organize the seal dimensions and location, then screen the material family against the operating conditions. You can keep those results for a supplier or future HydraResolve sourcing workflow.

Why there is no order form yet

HydraResolve will not present a manufacturing or payment workflow until the supply, fabrication, quality-control and fulfillment process is actually ready. The current goal is to make the technical information quote-ready first.
